The Coolest Teenage Girl's Bedroom In Town!

Melanie lives in beautiful Queensland with her family. She needed a specific spot for her teenage daughter where she could have her own space and spread her wings in a place she could call her own. Once Melanie ordered her 3m x 3m Star Cabin, she got underway with building it in her chosen spot where the old overgrown garden used to be.

"Honestly the hardest part was probably clearing out our gardens and building the base. We wanted it to be perfect and extremely solid. We often joke if a tornado hits the cabin will be the last thing standing! The cabin build itself was pretty straight forward as the instructions were easy to follow including the videos which made it clear what pieces went where."

We can see she has put a lot of thought and care into building and designing the 9sqm Star Cabin for her daughter. We love the addition of the feature barn light at the front of the cabin, as well as the dreamy drapes and fan light. This teenage retreat is equipped for all the seasons!

"Our She Shed is styled specifically for our daughter. She is naturally drawn to older style homes, so this is her little version complete with her own deck. It's light and bright and has the perfect amount of pink! Our SheShed has been the perfect addition to our backyard. Transforming what was an overgrown garden and unsightly garden shed into what I now refer to as "The Pool House", although its actual use is a teen retreat."

We are so impressed with what Melanie has accomplished for her daughter. The landscaping choices as well as the paint work and added deck really gives it a statement look- and it has also grabbed quite a bit of attention too:

"Firstly, it is simply the stunning view from our house into the backyard. Its just a beautiful little cabin and is exactly what this family needed! Everyone is quite impressed when they see it and just how solid and spacious it is given its small footprint. It has completely transformed our property."
