Layby & Finance Options for Your SheShed Flatpack Cabin

We understand that everyone has different financial needs and priorities, so we want to make it as simple as possible for you to make the right decisions when purchasing a SheShed. Here are the three options you can choose when considering how to pay for your new SheShed kitset.

Paying a 50% deposit secures the next available stock so you don’t miss out. You can then pay the remainder once you’re ready for delivery. Click here for more info about paying a deposit online.

Laybying a cabin is a great way to lock in your cabin price and avoid being impacted by price rises. Click here to see our layby policy below. Please note that we can’t reserve stock until you’ve paid at least 50% of your order.

Work with your chosen finance provider to secure finance approval. Once approved, you can place your order with us over the phone or here on our website. See below for a suggested supplier. See below for our suggested provider.

About The Purchase Process

For purchases that are worth $15k or over, we recommend paying via a direct bank transfer to avoid any extra fees, but you can also choose to pay via cash or credit card online, in person, or over the phone. (Please note: Paying by credit/debit card will incur an additional transaction fee of 1.5% of the total purchase amount, for any orders worth $15,000 or more.)

Purchase Stage One: After we have received at least 50% of your payment (via any payment method), your selected cabin kitset is held in reserve under your name, either in our warehouse stock or in our confirmed incoming shipments.

Purchase Stage Two: After we have received your final/full payment, and once any incoming stock shipment has arrived, we can now dispatch your kitset from our warehouse to you. In most cases, please allow up to two weeks for dispatch and shipping from the time your kitset is ready in our warehouse.

Layby Policy and Terms

SheShed offers a layby option to provide customers with a convenient way to secure non-sale items priced over $2,000, while benefiting from the protection of current pricing. The following terms apply to all layby agreements in Australia.

1. Layby Agreement:

  • The layby agreement is a contract between SheShed and the customer (“you”) to secure the purchase of non-sale items by paying for them over a fixed period.
  • The total price of the goods will be locked in at the time of the layby agreement, meaning any future price rises will not apply to your cabin.

2. Deposit and Payment Terms:

  • A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to initiate the layby. This deposit secures the price of your selected item(s).
  • Stock will be reserved once you have paid 50% of the total purchase price.
  • The balance of the total price must be paid within 4 months of the agreement date.
  • Payments can be made via automatic payment, direct credit, Visa, MasterCard, EFTPOS, or bank transfer.
  • Items on layby are not eligible for future sales, discounts, or promotional offers. The layby secures the price at the time of the agreement.

3. Cancellation Policy:

  • If you cancel the layby agreement or fail to complete the payments within the agreed 4-month term, the agreement will be considered cancelled, and the 10% deposit will be forfeited as a non-refundable charge.
  • No additional cancellation fees will apply beyond the forfeited deposit.

4. Payment Methods:

  • All payments must be made in Australian Dollars (AUD) via one of the following methods:
    • Automatic payment
    • Direct credit
    • Visa or MasterCard
    • EFTPOS or Bank Transfer

5. Governing Legislation:

  • This layby agreement is governed by the Layby Sales Act 1971 and its subsequent amendments.

For any queries or to initiate a layby, please contact us on 1800 316 583 or email info@sheshedz.com.au.

Holds, Orders and Deposits

She Shed will take a 50% order placement or holding deposit on shed and cabin orders when the customer isn’t ready for immediate dispatch or a special order on a cabin or shed product is required.

She Shed will require a delivery timeframe for the cabin and will arrange to have stock available during that time frame for immediate dispatch. If the timeframe is altered for any reason, She Shed cannot guarantee immediate delivery of the cabin and there may be a short waiting period. Due to the current shipping delays and world events, She Shed cannot take responsibility for delays in the shipping or delivery times due to Shipping congestions, container delays currently. We will keep you informed at all times of estimated delivery timelines.

Full payment is required prior to dispatch. If you have a change of heart before the delivery of your order, please reach out to our customer service team for a full store credit, as no refunds will be offered unless required by law. Please click here to see our full Terms & Conditions.
