Scott's Stunning Office Oasis With Views!

This is the beautiful and ever popular 12sqm Coastal SheShed Cabin, built by Scott, who lives on an expansive rural property in Hastings.

Scott needed an office close to home, where he could work in peace, and have a fantastic view out to the lush green landscape on his property. After looking at all of his options, and talking extensively with the SheShed team to ensure he was getting the right cabin for his needs, Scott chose the Coastal Cabin for his office oasis. He has now got a dreamy and solid build for his space away from home, and we are so impressed with what he has achieved so far! We can only imagine that this little haven has become more of a getaway, especially with the sunny location and added deck for extra optimization of space.

We can see why Scott chose the Coastal Cabin kitset. The design is inspired by beautiful ocean landscapes and measures at 4 meters wide by 3 meters long, making it the perfect fit for a large home office. It comes with 45mm thick walls and is fully double glazed, making it very warm and snug - especially in a windy location! What makes it cutting edge is the monopitch steel roof, as well as the new doors and windows, which are double-glazed to modern high standards. These new taller windows feature the new European-style tilt and turn opening system to allow for natural airflow circulation while keeping the weather out (the window can be either tilted inwards at the top for air circulation, or opened fully like a traditional casement window!). As you can see, the Coastal Cabin benefits most in an area with a fantastic outlook and plenty of natural sunlight- it is designed to make your view shine while you are still indoors!

We are so impressed with what Scott has accomplished for his dream office - the only problem now is that he may need to share the space with other family members who are also showing a keen interest in his SheShed Cabin!

As the location was tricky to get to, Scott was quite lucky that he chose a kitset cabin rather than a prefabricated cabin. This meant that he could get it delivered as close as possible to his desired location (SheShed uses a hiab to deliver all orders in the safest way possible) and then build it exactly as he wanted it to be situated on site! He now has a unique addition to his property that will not only bring him joy over time, but will also add value to his home too.
