Well this is a feast for the literary imagination! We are so impressed by Andrea’s “Queen’s Parlour,” where she has established a very deluxe reading room!
Andrea needed a retreat away from the busy household – a place where she could unwind, relax and get lost in a good story. She decided to go for our 3m x 3m Star Cabin – a solid 9 square metre kitset that is very popular amongst our customers! Giving it the classic black and white finish on the outside, she has also decorated the front very tastefully with barrels of potted flowers to match the surrounding gardens, and a giant chess board at the entrance too! We love the addition of the hot red outdoor chairs!
Andrea has done an amazing job on the inside of her Star Cabin – painting the walls white, but keeping the timber floors naturally finished:
“My SheShed is called The Queen’s Parlour as it’s next to the outdoor chessboard. I use it as my reading room and I’ve put a beautiful velvet couch and a bookcase that is almost full already! It is my escape room from children, husband, and mother and is such a peaceful retreat for me. My favourite aspect is that it is a calming retreat, all just for me and a few selected guests… Visitors just love it!”
