The SheShed Canopy Kit is a 3m x 3m canopy designed to be a seamless extension of your SheShed giving you 9m2 of covered outdoor area to enjoy. This optional upgrade is compatible for use with either the Star, Star Deluxe or Cabana cabin flatpack. Offering ample shade from the sun and shelter from the rain, the Canopy Kit extends the living area of your SheShed, increasing its versatility and functionality and keeping you comfortable year-round.
Many of our customers build decks, verandahs or patio areas out the front of their SheShed, the canopy kit provides protection for these areas and adds usable outdoor space to your cabin. Think of all the things you could do with an extra 9m2 of covered outdoor space. Not only would you have a sheltered entry area but maybe you could turn it into a practical sitting area for meetings, or possibly put in an outdoor kitchen, perhaps even a daybed or hammock would be the perfect finishing touch for your cabin. Installing the canopy kit means you’ve got the space to do any of these things and so much more.
The canopy kit is designed to be installed during the construction of your SheShed cabin and installation is easy, it’s simply a matter of ensuring the foundation which it will sit on, be it a deck or concrete pad etc. has already been constructed and is the correct height to allow for the canopy kit. From here you need follow the detailed instructions to construct the frame of the canopy kit and then slide it into position to join your partially constructed cabin.
It’s important to note that the canopy kit must be added during the construction of your cabin and can't be added afterwards. The kit also doesn't include any decking as each customer's building location and foundation choices are different.
