When it comes to creating the perfect SheShed, the right windows can make all the difference. Beyond the aesthetic benefits, there are many practical benefits too. All of the windows available at SheShed are double glazed, offering superior insulation to keep the warmth in and the cold out. The double glazing provides excellent noise protection as well. Additionally, windows flood your space with natural light, helping you to feel connected to the world outside and allowing you to enjoy the benefits of improved air quality - there's nothing quite like a gentle breeze flowing through your space.

Opening outward from the bottom and hinged at the top, the single top-hung window is a very practical option. Measuring 880mm wide x 1265mm high, with the flexibility to remove the lattice work if needed, it is suitable for a range of cabin styles. Available in both treated and untreated timber, the top-hung window is a popular choice for a number of SheShed cabins.
Although similar in shape to the top-hung window, the casement window does vary in a few ways. Firstly, casement windows open outward on a hinge at the side of the window frame, this means that the window can be opened fully, allowing for maximum ventilation and airflow. It's larger than the top-hung window as well measuring 1000mm wide x 1140mm high and just like the top hung window you have the option to remove the lattice work making it a popular choice with both traditional and modern style cabins. It too is available in treated and untreated timber options.
Unlike ordinary windows that open outwards, tilt and turn windows can open inward along both their horizontal and vertical axis. Essentially, they open at the top for ventilation, or with a simple turn of the handle in the other direction, it can swing it inwards like a door. Measuring 720mm wide x 1975mm high and available only in untreated timber, these windows really are a versatile and stylish addition to your cabin.
Want to add a beautiful architectural feature, that will bring light and volume to your SheShed? A fixed long window is the answer. Measuring 1935mm wide x 340mm high, and versatile in terms of its placement positions with it being able to be placed horizontally or vertically, depending on the type of cabin you have, fixed windows are the perfect solution for allowing natural light to flood your SheShed whilst still providing you with security and privacy. Available in treated timber.
There's only one thing can could make the fixed long window even better and that is if it was vented.
Guess what? We have exactly that, a fixed long vented window.
This window has a top vented section which can easily be opened and closed allowing for airflow and helping to maintain a comfortable environment.
It's slightly different in its dimensions to the fixed long window, measuring 340mm wide and 1530mm high. Designed to be positioned vertically in your cabin and is available in treated timber.
Our modern double windows operate in a similar way to our casement window, they open outward on a hinge at the side of the window frame, meaning that the window can be opened fully, allowing for maximum ventilation and airflow. Unlike the casement window, however, the modern double window doesn't come with any lattice work and so stays true to that clean, modern style. It is also larger than the casement window measuring 1210mm wide x 1530mm high and is available only in treated timber.

Windows are so much more than an architectural feature to your cabin. They offer natural light and connection to the outside, airflow and ventilation and they complete the look of your cabin.
