Our story

SheShed is a family-owned business, established in 2016 when we found there were limited wooden cabin options for women wanting a space of their own. Our backyard cabin kits became so popular they’re no longer just ‘She Sheds’ – but we kept the name anyway!

How It Works:

flatpack cabin kit — **STEP 1: Choose your kitset & place your order to secure stock**.

Will you need insulation, or do you need extra windows or doors? We’ll help you figure out the best options for your backyard cabin.

You might want a concrete foundation, or you might just place treated bearers on level ground. (This pic shows the joists that come with a Star cabin kit, laid on a pre-existing deck).

Now the fun begins! You might be building it yourself or have hired a handyman, either way, just follow the step-by-step instructions provided.

After painting and sealing, now is the time you get to outfit your SheShed with the fittings and furnishings you need. Don't forget to share your photos with us.
